Psychology training is only delivered by the Université
du Luxembourg (UdL). The UdL was founded in 2003. It is a multilingual
institution (lectures are held in English, French and/or German) and strongly
focuses on research. From the academic year 2005/2006 graduations as ‘Bachelor
of Sciences - Psychology’ (3 year-studies), as ‘Master of
Sciences in Psychology: Evaluation and Assessment’ (2 year-studies)
as well as from 2011 as ‘Master in psychotherapy’ are offered
from the UdL.
Admission requirements to study psychology at a Bachelor level is a secondary
school diploma or vocational education; leaver’s certificate or
foreign diploma recognized as equivalent by the Ministry responsible for
National Education. Students must be trilingual (German, French and English).
Tuition fees are €100 a year (http:// www.uni.lu).
The continuously growing number of students in psychology at the UdL leads
to the conclusion that psychology is a very attractive field to study
at the UdL.
