University of Vilnius

The University of Vilnius was founded in 1579. The Department of Clinical and Organisational Psychology runs the Master's degree programmes in Clinical Psychology and Organisational Psychology and postgraduate Doctoral studies in Psychology. By teaching specialised courses and supervising graduate research work, the members of the department also provide the Bachelor's degree studies in Psychology. The department puts strong emphasis on the scientific research knowledge and development of broad, transferable skills and orientation towards knowledge production. By placing strong value on practice the department aims towards practice research trying to improve the connection of knowledge in clinical and organizational psychology practice and the scientific ‘tools’ for innovative psychological research and developments. The department has intense and functional international relations with European universities in the form of international projects, teachers’ exchange, doctoral studies.
