Psychology Education

There are four Departments of Psychology in Greece, in four Universities: The University of Athens, Panteion University (Athens), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and University of Crete. Admission requirements to these Departments are the same.

All Universities require a High School Diploma and success in National Examinations. Higher Education in Greece is public, so there are no fees for students that study Psychology.

Students obtain a Bachelors Degree after four years of studies and several hours of practice which includes observation in different fields (hospitals, schools, etc). All four Departments provide postgraduate courses. The University of Athens offers three postgraduate courses in the fields of School Psychology, Clinical Psychology and Counselling Psychology.
